Lo-Fi and Lo-Fried

Taylor Hollingsworth, fresh off of his full length release of 'Tap Dancin’ Daddy' on Flower Moon Records, brings this wild shot of cover tunes on 'Lo Fi & Lo Fried' (Cornelius Chapel Records). Taylor is the house musician in several Birmingham, Al bars. He's also an Uber/ Lyft driver and part time restaurant worker. He has become quite comfortable with his lack of national success, and honestly I think, prefers it. "At this point in time, with the music world the way it is, I don't think I even consider myself a musician, more a folk artist of sound." Taylor has played guitar, written songs, sang, and toured with many bands including, Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, Dead Fingers, and the Dexateens. Taylor started as a Lo-Fi garage punk guitar shredder, followed the yellow brick road of musicians, and studio's, large and small. Along the way he’s honed in on his guitar picking and song writing. And thank goodness he's still getting stoned in his basement and recording wild shit on a 4 track, including these two covers of Muddy Water’s “Champagne and Weed” and Syd Barrett’s “Love You”.
